Art Direction. With new product ready to launch and pressing print deadlines solpuri needed to shoot with confidence. Asked to deliver show stopping imagery, Skylark collaborated with the Solpuri team to source locations, brief styling and co-ordinate product needs before Art Directing the shoot on location in Germany. The Results? Our work is on their homepage so we think we did ok!
Creative Direction. After the True Mountain shoot I knew the results were good but I was on pins awaiting final images. Knowing they were due to be used at a huge scale in European exhibitions added to the anticipation. Some of the most exciting images I have had the pleasure to capture, the campaign is unquestionably the result of an excellent team. Mother Nature kindly supported the process with perfect conditions.
Production, Creative Direction. That wrap shot. I'll never forget it. The culmination of two wonderful days in the beautiful Lake District. From concept sketches to art direction, it was a delight working with James King and Charlie Sproson to capture the excitement of mountain life for British brand True Mountain.
I'm Braddan. I enjoy a challenge and am never far from my next adventure. Endurance focussed, it is likely to be a triathlon, ultra running or orienteering event. It could be a simple hill walk, camping trip or motorcycle ride. For me, the mountains offer clarity of thought and channels of creativity. The song of the ever present skylark is close to my heart and a source of inspiration.
My greatest challenge to date has been competing in the infamous Dragons Back Race. At over 200 mountainous miles from North to South Wales and some 16,000m of ascent, it's arguably one of the toughest foot races in the world. I am currently pioneering guiderunning.UK a running network connecting blind, visually impaired and guide runners. Further personal challenges beckon in 2015. Images courtesy of Ian Corless.
