Creative Direction, Production. Sometimes locations just need to be perfect. Tasked with a search for stylish architecture and rolling vineyards no ordinary location company would do. After identifying likely properties Good Spaces joined the team and we tackled the process with a unique approach. The results? What's not to like about Napa Valley?!
Creative Direction, Production. Take a vibrant city (Barcelona will do nicely). Add summer sun, a rooftop bar, a dizzy mix of characters and some way out styling from the excellent Goodspaces team. The result - a fantastically fun vibe. Perfectly on message for the stylish new furniture range 'Nomad' from Gloster.
Production, Creative Direction. Simply does it. Beautifully minimal, this range of furniture by renowned nautical designer Carsten Astheimer spoke of strong architecture, beautiful light, and open views. So it was shot in California. The resulting imagery helped obtain retail space, media coverage and industry awards. An investment worth making.
Creative Direction, Production. In reality there's rarely time to truly celebrate a wrap. But a shoot completed on time and in budget is worth a brief moment to appreciate the efforts of everyone involved. A well managed team is productive and positive to the very end. From LA to the Lake District, Barcelona and Italy, every wrap shot here is the happy product of a fantastic team.
Production. Small to large. UK to international. Temporary exhibition to permanent showroom. Room set to retail installation. I've conceived, designed and managed build or install for all. Tight deadlines, union agreements, unforeseen complications, delivery issues. The experience to anticipate the potential pitfalls ensures best possible execution.
Production. Improving press relations, building brand awareness, knowing an event worth investing in and avoiding those which aren't. Mixing with industry media can be tricky. I've worked directly with titles such as Wallpaper, Architectural Design, Luxe and Coastal Living to name a few. Developing events, competitions and campaigns has enabled me to develop a greater understanding of the press environment and capitalise on the insights offered by strong relationships.
I'm Braddan. I enjoy a challenge and am never far from my next adventure. Endurance focussed, it is likely to be a triathlon, ultra running or orienteering event. It could be a simple hill walk, camping trip or motorcycle ride. For me, the mountains offer clarity of thought and channels of creativity. The song of the ever present skylark is close to my heart and a source of inspiration.
My greatest challenge to date has been competing in the infamous Dragons Back Race. At over 200 mountainous miles from North to South Wales and some 16,000m of ascent, it's arguably one of the toughest foot races in the world.
